“…These men who have turned the world upside down.” -Acts 17:6b
As a youth ministry we are committed to
Both middle and high school students are meeting every Wednesday night from 7pm-9pm to experience Christian community among our youth.
Come learn, play games, have fun in a safe small group setting, and be a part of something impactful.
No sign-ups are necessary and everyone (grades 6th-12th) is welcome!
Middle School
This week, we continued our series on spiritual disciplines with prayer. We looked at the Lord’s prayer in Matthew 6 as something we can use as a guideline for our own prayers, and also went over the ACTS method (Adoration, Confession, Thanksgiving, Supplication).
High School
This week we began our new series on Pain and Suffering. We will be discussing:
This will be a series that mirrors the book of Job and his story. Pastor Justin will be adding some helpful information about dealing with pain and suffering each week both in youth group and again in the newsletter. If you would like some materials on this subject, please contact Pastor Justin using the form (with his phone number) below.

We are holding a service day at RICAN to pack up bags of food on Saturday September 19 at 9a. We're planning to be there for 2-3 hours to help out. If your child wants to go but may not have a ride, let us know- we have leaders and parents willing to carpool!
Instead of the overnight Reverb event we’ve done the past few years, we are planning to have a day trip to Six Flags on Saturday, October 3. In order to get the group pricing, we need to have above a certain number of attendees, though, so please let us know if you intend to come!
Our annual ignite conference isn’t just for adults! This is a great opportunity for students to come and spend the day in the word outside of the context of Sunday morning services or Berea-style chaos. If you weren’t considering going or were planning to leave the kids at home, this is your encouragement to participate as a family! More info can be found on our website and registration page below.
We have secured February 12-14, 2027 (President’s Day weekend) for Deep Freeze snow camp at Camp Berea in Hebron, NH. This is a weekend away to grow closer with God and with your friends. There will be all sorts of excitement including, tubing, gym time, races, competition with your friends, and more! We are excited for God to show up and work in your life.
The total cost of the weekend is $260 per student, which will be due on Feb 1. A $50 deposit will be due on December 15 for anyone planning to attend.
*A reminder that there will be a separate registration form on Berea’s website which will open in Fall 2026. More info to come in our newsletter later this year.
We are looking for snack donations for the youth group— our students work up quite an appetite after worship and games! Chicken nuggets, mozzarella sticks, chips, apples, whatever you would like to bring in we’re sure they’ll eat. Please give any donations to Justin or one of the other youth leaders. Thank you to those who have helped contribute!!
Also, please remember that snack is not meant to be a replacement for dinner, so please try to ensure that your child eats dinner before youth group!
We know sometimes there can be a disconnect between leaders and children since we usually only wave at each other during drop-off/pick-up, so this form is your opportunity to let us know of any problems your child may have brought up, or simply anything you would like to make the leadership team aware of. We try to be on top of everything, but with the number of children we have it’s always possible for something to be overlooked. Texting Justin directly is the best way to get in touch with him, but this form goes directly to Sarah who can and will get things done if needed!
Students are also welcomed to use this form to suggest topics they would like covered or to let us know of anything going on among the students that might be making them uncomfortable - our goal is for youth group to be a safe place for everyone, so when you reach out it will benefit the entire group!
